Dermal Fillers
Healthy skin has an abundance of two important substances, collagen and hyaluronic acid, that keep your skin looking smooth and supple. Collagen is a protein matrix that provides your skin with structural support. Hyaluronic acid is a natural sugar found in all living cells. It hydrates the skin, giving it volume by attracting and binding over 1000 times its weight in water. Dermal fillers can be used to smooth the appearance of wrinkles or scars in many areas of the face, including: smile and frown lines, crow’s feet and vertical lip lines. Unlike bovine collagen, none of our dermal fillers require a pre-treatment skin test to determine if you might have an allergic response. Immediately after treatment, you can expect slight redness, swelling, tenderness or an itching sensation in the treated area.
- Collagen
- CosmoDerm and CosmoPlast are made of highly purified human-based collagen that was formulated especially for people with small or shallow wrinkles or scars. It can be particularly effective in smoothing delicate frown and smile lines, as well as fine creases that develop at the corners of the eyes and above and below the lips. It can also help correct certain types of shallow scars. Treatment results are immediate and may last anywhere from three to six months, depending on the area being treated and the amount of collagen used to achieve optimal correction.
- Captique™
The newest FDA approved non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid dermal filler. The clear gel (containing a purified form of hyaluronic acid), adds volume lost during the aging process by temporarily smoothing out facial lines and wrinkles. Captique™ can be used to fill in smile lines between the nose and mouth, smile lines above the lip, frown lines between the eyes and to minimize the creases that turn down the corners of the mouth. Results from this treatment last anywhere from four to six months.- Radiesse™
- Micro spheres of calcium hydroxyl apatite is suspended in an aqueous gel carrier. These consistently shaped and sized particles have proven safe and biocompatible while allowing gradual tissue ingrowth. Radiesse™ is intended to fill and/or augment severe nasolabial folds or defects. It is not intended for fine to moderate lines, wrinkles or lip enhancement. Treatment results last from seven to twelve months.
- Restylane®
- A gel consisting of hyaluronic acid that is used to treat moderate folds and wrinkles with results that last typically anywhere from six to nine months. Restylane® is most commonly used for glabellar lines (between the eyebrows), the nasolabial folds (from the root of the nose to the angle of the mouth) and the lips.
- Juvederm™
- This injectable gel is a colorless hyaluronic acid gel that is injected into facial tissue to smooth wrinkles and folds, especially around the nose and mouth. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar found in the human body. The role of hyaluronic acid in the skin is to deliver nutrients, hydrate the skin by holding in water, and to act as a cushioning agent. Juvederm™ has been FDA approved to last up to one year.

These muscles are paralyzed for 3-6 months by BOTOX® cosmetics and can no longer contract. The action of the muscle is stopped and fine lines diminish.
Medical Microdermabrasion
Our Medical Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical exfoliating treatment helpful for those unhappy with skin texture, acne, dull or dry patches, clogged pores and blackheads, and rough, thick or dry skin. Microdermabrasion is performed with a stream of fine crystals, which are delivered across the skin’s surface and then removed via vacuum, uprooting the damaged cells to reveal fresh, invigorated skin.
Mesotherapy
This, along with Endermologie is a lipo-sculpting treatment for the non-surgical removal of cellulite. Mesotherapy involves many tiny injections of customized homeopathic medication into the mesoderm (middle layer of skin), chemically reducing trapped, localized fat deposits with dramatic results. Unlike surgery, mesotherapy is virtually painless and requires no post-operative recovery time, requires no heavy bandages or anesthesia.
Although some uses for mesotherapy include overall weight loss, most prefer to use it for problem areas. These may include: the front or sides of the abdomen, thighs, upper arms, chin, neck, infraorbital (fat pad below the eyes), buttocks, and area between the bra straps and underarms or above the knee. In addition, benefits include: improved blood flow to the area, dissolving excess fat deposits, removing fibrotic and/or hardened connective tissue and improved lymphatic drainage.
Response to therapy is generally seen after three to five treatments. Results are enhanced by performing Endermologie immediately after or up to 72 hours after treatment and ten days after injections. Mesotherapy is not FDA approved for cosmetic treatments, however all of the medications administered in the solution are.
Skin Rejuvenation (FotoFacial™)
Provided to the client in a series of five to six treatments, ImageRx® has chosen the Aurora by Syneron for superior FotoFacial™ results.
The combined energies of Bi-Polar Radio Frequency and Broad Band Light, the developed ELOS technology assures greater safety and comfort over other systems while treating conditions related to rosacea, acne, age and sun spots, and broken capillaries. Photodynamic Therapy with Levulan
PDT is a treatment performed with a topical photo-sensitizer called Levulan or Aminolevulinic Acid (ALA), a special light and molecular oxygen that selectively kills abnormal cells. Simply stated, ALA/PDT removes sun-damage and pre-cancerous skin cells while improving fine lines and blotchy pigment. This unique treatment also has the unique ability to minimize pores and reduce oil glands, effectively treating stubborn Acne Vulgaris and Rosacea, while improving the appearance of some acne scars.
ReFirme ST
Skin Tightening is a combination of the best Thermage and Titan in one great treatment. The combined Bi-polar Radio Frequency and Light energies heat the dermal tissue, stimulating collagen production reducing wrinkles, smoothing and tightening the skin's surface. "Look as young as you feel!"
Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy has been used since the 1930’s and remains one of the most prevalent applications for the successful treatment of spider veins.
While pregnancy and prolonged standing are the primary causes of unsightly and painful spider veins, other factors such as age, weight gain and heredity can cause their emergence as well. Spider veins most commonly show up on the legs, but can also appear on the face.
The sclerotherapy is a treatment where a sclerosing agent (sodium chloride) is injected in the vein through a tiny needle. When injected, the solution replaces the blood in the vein, generating irritation and corrosion to the walls of the blood vessel—the body then initiates the natural healing process and the vein begins to decompose, shrink and eventually disappear. Depending on the severity of your veins, several treatments may be required to achieve optimum results. Many people, however, achieve their desired outcome with just two to three treatments.
In most cases, you will be able to resume regular activities immediately. However, excessive standing or vigorous activities are not advised for 24 to 48 hours. The treated veins may darken and appear bruised for a short time. This condition is temporary, and will usually fade within a few days.
Vascular Blemish Removal (T-Tron)
Commonly called "broken capillaries" or "spider veins", vascular blemishes can take many forms. Using the Bono-Blend can now remove these marks in a matter of minutes. With the use of the Telangitron (T-Tron), a tiny "electric" needle is injected into the blemish to coagulate the vessel. The vessel then "dries up" and is eliminated. The treatments aren’t very painful and results are usually immediate. After the treatment, redness and swelling to the area treated should be expected but subsides within a few hours. Optimum results are attained in one to three treatments.
